Key points to note when selecting frozen food bags
From a safety perspective, packaging materials that directly contact food, such as plastic bags, are a concern. Due to the nature of frozen food bags and the transportation process, it is often difficult to ensure a consistently low temperature throughout the entire process. Especially during transfer and transport, the temperature of frozen food may rise significantly for a period of time.
1. Hygiene: From a safety perspective, packaging materials that directly contact food, such as plastic bags, should be considered. Among them, single-layer frozen food packaging bags, namely simple PE bags, have poor barrier properties and are mostly used for fruit and vegetable packaging; composite soft plastics have relatively good moisture resistance, cold resistance, and puncture resistance; while multilayer co-extruded frozen food bags are produced by melting and extruding different functional raw materials such as PA, PE, PP, PET, and EVOH, and then blowing, shaping, cooling, and compounding them. They have excellent packaging properties such as high barrier, high strength, and high and low temperature resistance.
